What is Prepared Teacher?
The "Prepared Teacher" Program is designed to enhance both the professional and personal competencies of educators by viewing the teacher as a guide rather than a commanding authority. By emphasizing self-reflection, authenticity, and stability, the program strengthens the foundation for high-quality educational relationships. This essential training provides teachers with practical tools to manage emotions, set healthy boundaries, and handle complex situations with increased professional certainty and perspective.
Who is the Prepared Teacher program designed for?
The program is designed for all teachers, assistants for all the children age range, from those in their first year to highly experienced professionals. It provides a foundational toolkit for long-term well-being and systemic effectiveness.
Is the program intended only for Montessori teachers?
No, the program is designed for all teachers and professionals working with children. While we do utilize certain key elements of the Montessori approach—specifically the concept of the teacher as a guide (rather than a primary authority in frontal teaching) and principles of respectful communication—the program is fundamentally built upon Systemic Psychology and Neuroscience. This blend makes it a universal toolkit for effective work, emotional management, and burnout prevention, regardless of your specific pedagogical model.
Who will be leading the sessions (the trainers)?
"The sessions will be led by Tati Neves. With many years of experience working therapeutically with children and adolescents, Tati offers online and onsite consultations for parents and teachers—both within Montessori settings and beyond.
She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Lisbon and a Master in Neuroscience from the Spanish Institute Of Sciences. She also completed a postgraduate study in Psychosomatics and Epigenetics at the Portuguese Center of Somatic Psychotherapy.
Tati works with the biosynthesis approach to therapy and regularly teaches professional development courses for therapists and educators. She currently coordinates the Pedagogical Department at the Portuguese Institute for Somatic Psychotherapy."
What metodology we will use?
Prepared Teacher strategically combines three key methodologies: Montessori Pedagogy (focusing on autonomy and the prepared environment), Biosynthesis (integrating body, mind, and emotions for self-regulation), and a Systemic Approach (managing roles and boundaries within the school context). "
Is the program intended only for new teachers?
No, absolutely not. While the program serves as an excellent foundational tool for new teachers, it was primarily created to address a missing element for highly experienced and long-serving teachers. All parts of the program offer significant value and advanced development, serving as a proactive measure to prevent burnout and ensure they sustain joy and enthusiasm in their long-term work with children."
Why was the Prepared Teacher program created?
"The Duhovka Institute collaborates closely with the Duhovka HR department. They provide systematic teacher development and support and maintain a comprehensive career support and education system for our teachers, including personal growth programs, specialized workshops, Montessori training, and regular consultations with psychologists.
However, after longterm period of working with both new and experienced teachers, we recognized one missing piece of the puzzle—a fundamental element upon which to build all these valuable initiatives.
That's why we created the 'Prepared Teacher' program."
Do I have to attend both parts of the program?
The program is fully modular: both parts function as standalone modules, allowing you to select the session that best fits your current needs. However, for maximum benefit and comprehensive coverage of all topics, attending both Part 1 and Part 2 is strongly advised.
What will teacher get after attending?
Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion upon successful attendance of each part of the full two-day program.
What does the Duhovka HR Department say about the program?
The Duhovka HR team refers to the Prepared Teacher program as a "Teacher Survival Kit." They emphasize that the program is the missing fundamental element for ensuring the long-term health and retention of our teaching staff.
The seminars will take place at Duhovka Elementary School (Prague 6). Part 1: February 6th - 7th / Part 2: April 25th - 26th.
